The Marvel

I don't make many journal entries:  don't have that much to say in so small a place.  I do marvel at the people that can envision a story and tell it in a single image.  To me this is the essence of art.  The few mediocre pieces I've done are other peoples stock and I'll see something to be created but it's a long time in comming. Anyway I wanted to salute you that can create that story.

A Personnal Wake

I wanted to use my journal to say goodbye to a musician I worked with on and off for many years.  He passed away last week and I'm 1200 miles away.  He was a good entertainer, artist and all round character:  even if he was a drummer [grin]. Good Bye Rod Richards, may we play again in the afterlife.

Another holiday excuse to post to my journal.  Happy New Year everyone. This year my resolution is not to make any.  It's hard enough to get through the year without worrying about that.  All we really can do is try to be as moral and good as we can; try to be nice to others and have as much fun as is good for you [chuckle].
